To participate in the Climate Investment Challenge, download the Concept Note template (download it below), complete it and submit it along with the application form below. Fill in the contact details of your team’s lead applicant in the application fields below. The contact details of the rest of the team should be included in the Concept Note itself.

Key Competition Details







    Students must be enrolled in a postgraduate degree (Masters, MBA or PhD-level) anywhere in the world at the time of the application. 

    Teams must be made up of 2 to 5 students and can be from the same University or different ones. Undergraduate students may be accepted as part of a team with a graduate student applicant.

    Stage 1: February 21, 2021: Submit your team’s Concept Note. 11.59pm GMT (UK).

    Stage 2: Semi-Finals:

    • March 8, 2021: Semi-Finalists announced.
    • March 28, 2021: Semi-Finalists submit a more detailed slide deck presentation of your idea.

    Stage 3: Finals:

    • April 18, 2021: Finalists announced.
    • June 2021: Finals event with judging panel @ Imperial College.

    The winning and runner-up teams are awarded £10,000 and £5,000, respectively.

    All finalists and semi-finalists have the opportunity to connect with potential employers at an exclusive networking session at the finals.
