Rafa Alonso-ArenasCompetition Chair
Rafa Alonso is a Co-Founder at Cultivo, a startup that regenerates forests, grasslands and wetlands offering attractive investment returns. A former World Bank consultant and entrepreneur, Rafa has helped create a financial company, a creative studio, a brand of mezcal, and a business accelerator for startups in renewable energy and biodiversity. Rafa has been a public speaker in 5 countries in Latin America and has taught Entrepreneurship classes at leading universities in Mexico. Rafa is a Board member at Griyum, an environmental startup creating the food of the future. He is part of the Global Shapers Community, NEXUS and Climate Reality Leadership Corps.
Bianca Sartori-SigristIndustry and Student Relations
Bianca spent the last 6.5 years working within EY’s Wealth & Asset Management assurance department as a Manager in both London and Sydney, alongside which she also became a relationship manager for EY’s FSO ripples program, which looks to help impact entrepreneurs in meeting the UN’s sustainable development goals. She is currently undertaking Imperial’s MSc in Climate Change, Management and Finance and look forward to using her industry knowledge in her role as Industry & Student relations lead.’
Guy WilkinsonDirector of University Partnerships UK
Guy graduated from the University of Durham in International Relations in 2018. He then went straight into the startup world, beginning in an events technology company and then an influencer marketing agency. During that time, he realised that all things climate & sustainability related was what he wanted to be involved in, so he undertook a few online courses & moved into a part-time business development role for a climate venutre accelerator in Cambridge, followed by a similar role at an EV Charging company. He decided to undertake the CCMF course not only due to my interest in the field, but also because he sees that this is the field where he can make the most impact in the future.

Annie YangDirector of University Partnerships Asia
Annie is an MSc Economics and Strategy student at Imperial College Business School. Her previous experiences involved working with environmental organisations and social enterprises, such as WildAid, China Green Foundation, CoronaUnity and 180 Degrees Consulting, as well as representing student bodies and establishing industrial relations. Her father has been a great influence on her environmental consciousness, leading to her pursuing a socially impactful role in her future workplace.
Gemma La GuardiaStrategy and Communications
Gemma graduated from Leiden University in International Studies with Arabic and Hebrew, and is a former counter-extremism analyst. Having spent time in the Middle East, which is both on both the counter-extremism and environmental frontlines, she came to the conclusion that the most imminent threat to global security was climate change, and decided to change career to pursue her interest in sustainability. She is studying MSc Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Management at Imperial College London.
